Description What's yours?

There are many paths in life you choose. Reaching one station, or resting-point, does not necessarily mean your journey is ending. Perhaps you are just pausing to think, catching or breath, or finding a new way of getting where you want to be. Each choice effects you, and each choice changes you, but does it have to stand in the way of your destination?

Edit: I took out the red tones of the image.

I love the contrast and the red tones. I'm a sucker for red tones.
Wonderful perspective and putting the lines into play. It looks awesome.

I think the red colour really adds to the photograph. The white line of the straight tracks is very strong and attracks a lot of attention, i like that. It's a very telling photograph (not really sure if that is the way to say it).

I like the focus and how it fades away into the back.

interesting concept. very powerful, and the photo really exudes a sense of choice.

i like the red choice, it kind of adds a sense of urgancy to the meaning, although i find it slightly overpowering.

i like the absence of any sky detail, it really helps concentrate on the choice ahead.

good stuff.

Thank you.

And I suppose the red choice adds a sense of urgency, I had just thought of it as a choice to slow down and stop, change your course. If you get off at that stop, the train is no longer your mode of transportation, I suppose.

this is just stunningly gorgeous, usually I am not big on skies that are blown out, but this one works and works really well at that!

I actually got something else from it because I recently watched the movie Unbreakable and the first episode of 24's new season. It reminds me of a train wreck. I agree with Twilights Angel and think that the tracks being two different colours is an interesting addition to the way that you see the photograph. Unfortunately, since the colour affects my way of seeing the actual picture, I'm not too fond of this one. However, I do like that it has meaning so I'm pretty torn. Either way this is pretty damn interesting and it can be taken two different ways which is even more interesting.

:: nods :: I'm not sure if I've seen unbreakable, but I know I haven't seen 24, so I'm sure how different it is for you.

Thanks for the comment.

Awesome work I love the color put to it. I find it interesting because the track that goes straight looks white as the one to the left is red... just seems to make the difference between paths a bit more known... or maybe I'm just silly...
either way its reflecting the current place of myself at the moment... I just cant decide which paths to go on...

I think people come to that point a lot. They aren't sure which path to take to get where they're going. I just wonder if maybe we have a set destination, but we choose our own way of getting there. It's an interesting thought.

Anyway, thanks for the comment, I'm glad you like it.

I think thats how it is. There is one end point but many roads to take that then branch off into other roads and so on... choice fate maybe?
