LOL! How did you know?

I have a tree that looks like swiss cheese now due to all of the little holes in it from a male and female Woodpecker that visits that tree every morning. It took me days of trying before I finally got some poised shots of them with their face in view. The rest of the time all I could get was the back of their heads as they rapped my tree. Sometimes you just have to climb the tree and get up close and personal with birds so they will look your direction, if only to stare at you for a second while thinking huh?!?!?!

I have a Cardinal I'm trying to get a shot of,
but it appears he's smarter than I.

While I was growing up in the north many, many, many moons ago Cardinals were plentiful and I always saw several dozens in the morning. When I had grown and was ready to move away on my own Cardinals had become few in number. There were rumors that they were almost extinct in the North. Since leaving the north I have not seen another Cardinal. I hope you do get that shot. Would love to see a Cardinal again.

We have a pair that think they've bought my driveway.
I've got news for them, they already own it. I hope I get
that picture too. I love them. I live in Upstate NY.
We have the spectrum. Even Bald Eagle and Falcon. And those counts
I know are on the rise.

I love upstate NY. Have family up there.

Good to hear those numbers are on the rise. Hate to see the Eagle and Falcon disappear.

Look forward to your photo.

Well we have them in the Binghamton Area.
Western part of the Catskills and throughout
the Southern Tier. And it's so awesome when you do see one.
My problem is those are the times I don't have my
Cams with me.
