Description My first portrait painting ever with oil paints. I think it's pretty good for a first try. After a long time I could paint something I'm satisfied with and actually like it. I feel good now.

By the way this is Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

This painting is truly beautiful! I love how you added some blue in her red hair (almost as if the ocean is in her as you said in your title )! Very unique interpretation!
