Waimea Bay, OahuThe swell is picking up on the North Shore of Oahu. Some tourists have no idea how strong and heavy these waves can be; they underestimate the power of the break. Here is a foreign lady anticipating the moment when the wave crashes down on her.

Pretty sure I boogie boarded there. It was rough because the waves were huge and crashed right in the shallow shore. Still I liked boardin too much I was out for an hour or so.

It was just one of those days I visited Waimea Bay and the shorebreak happened to be pounding. On that particular day, a group of foreigners took to the shore and tried to jump in, but was having a bit of trouble doing just that. They did have a lot of fun and they were laughing at each other... quite entertaining for the locals
