I just felt like drawing a picture of Sly's parents going on one of their first dates.

Artist's Notes
Fan artists who draw their vision of what Sly’s mother might look like tend to make her just another gray raccoon like Sly. However, I think it’s more fun to imagine that she looked radically different from the other Coopers. And, since squirrels are adorable (and also good climbing animals); why not a squirrel?

IMO, this also fits in better with canon because the games made it clear that Sly looks like a clone of his dad. So it’s very likely that he doesn’t bear any physical resemblance to his mother. So I think it's fun to imagine that Mama Cooper was the complete physical opposite of what Coopers typically look like (i.e. she's short, chubby, and brightly colored)
