Awww!
To be honest, it makes more sense that Gil-galad is the son of Fingon.
- He would have more history
- His claim for the crown of High King would be stronger (else Galadriel's would be)
- Nowhere a brother of Finduilas is mentioned
But I'll leave it at that.
