Description
Duel in Mustafar.Anakin Skywalker vs. Obi-wan Kenobi.
Drama is served.
It has taken me 3 full weeks to finish this deviation. I am proud of the final result, although I have issues with Anakin's face - the pose is quite complicated, and I think he could bear greater resemblance to Hayden, but I can't just get the "demonic/Sith look" 100&% right. I see myself "revisiting" this piece in a few weeks
On the other hand, I just loved my teary-eyed E-wan Kenobi

My only beef with the picture is that the faces are off from the actors just slightly enough to be noticeable to a real geek (like myself.)

It's very interesting and not like anything I have ever seen before. Whoever said those things about your drawings is a dope, who can't see the true value of your work. Anyways, I think it's neat.

I think it came out amazingly! (who was the retard that said those thing to you!?!...let me know and the idiot will find a 6'5 pissed off Irish guy to deal with ;-P ) I think the color and the expressions are amazing...I would agree with you that he could look a little more "Hayden." And I would also offer that Obiwan could have more arch to his back for the "final blow" type feel. But I love the stance of Anakin and I can tell that you took a great deal of effort to get it just right...over all an amazing job! And I loved seeing the original sketch of Obiwans face to what we see here...you have an amazing eye for detail and I love how you can flesh something so powerful from a simple pencil sketch! NICE WORK!!!

Although i am not a big star wars fan, I like this piece (full view is a must in fact).... the details in the faces (esp.) really add to the drama and dynamics of the composition
