I was asked simply to do a "heroic knight, shining in the sun" and was given permission to design it as I pleased.

Designing a knight in shining armor? Complete creative freedom? Some clients spoil me.

Love the work, but it has a few stuff inconsistent.
That's a horseback armour (that gap is for the saddle front, to make the knight more stable), so the shield doesn't fit, and the very design would impede mobility on the ground severely. Needs a heavier sword as well for horseback fighting in heavy armour, because you can't break through plate mail with that pig sticker.

P.S. Best Regards from a Pateron supporter.

Well thank you very much. This piece was not intended to be a historical piece, it was meant to be a fantasy piece.

I'll drop two photos of armor from the Malbork Castle collection. The one on the left is for footmen, the one on the left for cavalry.

I know, it's just that it wouldn't work well even as a fantasy armor. Imagine how much it will restrict your upper leg movement.
But feel free to completely disregard my whining about realism anyway. It's fantasy, and it still looks great.
