Nana has the kind of demeanor and toughness that gets the most outrageously stubborn kid to stop and listen to her, and with the right developed social skills to stop and listen to other people. In short, she's a mighty lioness with a big heart.

★ Biography: Nana Ueda's family was pretty well-off, not overly wealthy but most things were generally affordable for the Ueda family. Her father was a businessman who steadily climbed the ladder of success as he continued to work, while her stepmother was a social butterfly who spent her time entertaining the wives of her husband's colleagues and bosses. Nana had 2 younger half-siblings, pretty well-rounded with their skills and very lovable. Nana, although supposedly "illegitimate", was never really left out of the family. Her stepmother, though frivolous, never discriminated or exempted Nana as one might expect, and her father was a busy but loving father. The only big problem was Nana was forbidden to ever see her real mother - an old since-childhood lover of her father's. Which naturally made Nana rebellious - eventually she even found out where her real mother lived and would sneak off occasionally to see her.
Nana became a figurehead amongst the teenagers - with her many pierced accessories (even her lip was pierced, amongst many others) and long blonde hair which she dyed. Having caused trouble in her previous school, she was transferred to another high school where she joined an art club (for certain circumstances - having met the eccentric club leader) - and met a few of students who she eventually came to love and treasure. Those were really the years where she bloomed - the world of art and abstract expression revealed to her, providing emotional and mental support for two of her friends who began developing a relationship, and finally releasing the tightness around her shoulders and coming in terms with her entire family.
And maybe that was why, having seen her parents - biological and non-biological - struggle with their minds and feelings to handle this troublesome teen, her closest friends go through with their own family and emotional issues, Nana rolled up her sleeves and studied psychology in university. It was something the old Nana would never have imagined herself doing, but Nana had developed over the years, and she was ready to shed her old skin.

- Had tendencies of a control freak when she was younger.

- Thinks that if person likes another, they should bloody well act like it instead of trying to be a "cool" by making fun of the other or saying harsh things.
