Kimi Shimmervale is the Princess and sole ruler of the planet Astria. All of her people see her as a kind and helpful princess who isn't afraid to step up and rise to the challenge. Even though Kimi is the only one ruling the planet, it wasn't always that way. Her parents Vivi and Lustro were king and queen of Astria, until they were attacked by enemy aliens; they sacrificed themselves to save their daughter. Ever since the incident, there was chaos going on as everyone tried to find a new leader. In the middle of all the madness, Kimi decided to step up and rule the kingdom, despite her lack of experience. Now that Kimi rules the kingdom of Astria, it's been more peaceful and calm. Kimi currently lives in the Astrian Palace, with a lot of time to kill. She enjoys hanging out in the palace and outside with others, as well as her friend Trixie Glitterglow and her love interest Lumin Moonshine, who also live in the palace with her. As mentioned earlier, Kimi is a very kind and benevolent ruler, but her kindness is not to be taken as a weakness. She won't fight unless she has to, and she has powerful light magic, along with a bit of a short temper. Kimi is also a bit vain at times, and she freaks out when her hair gets ruined(it's pretty scary, too.), so she usually does it herself. She also has serious pollen allergies and will start sneezing like crazy. There are days when Kimi thinks about if she did the right thing by stepping up as ruler, but she's always assured by others. Despite the difficulties of ruling an entire planet by herself, Kimi always manages to keep everything under control with Trixie and Lumin by her side.
