Wondering if you apply photoshop's "diffuse glow"?
Because I can never naturally capture this effect digitally. R72 or the RM90?

You know I've never really tried diffuse glow. I'll have to check that out.
I'm using the R72 type filter.

Thanks! Struggling for the intense white results your work yields. I usually overexpose by three stops.

What kind of white balance do you use? or how do you set the tones?

Nope, no hotspot at all.
If you ever want some good lens evaluations go here. This guys is the best for Nikon users and usually gives an IR rating.
His review of the 17-35mm is what helped me decide between the 17-55mm and 17-35mm.

Well, his tests have not disapointed me yet. I usually will read as many reviews as possible these days. But very few others list any information regarding hotspots with IR filters whereas he tends to do this for almost every lens. He also seems much more thorough than most others.
