"High in the branches, the Mandragora watched the merchant caravan on the forest floor below, it's traders tense with the dawning realization of how ill-advised this journey really was. As lucrative as the contracts between Epitaph and Invergrat were, not many drove these routes anymore for a reason. The Dream had come and while life and coin survived, the world was not the same, these routes were not the same. Each trip had one less path to take, one less road to choose from. The expanding forest had consumed them, adding these arteries of civilization to its ever growing gardens. And as they walked these now knotted and overgrown paths they felt distinctly unwelcome, but that could not have been further from the truth. Up in the branches the Mandragora looked upon the throng of men and chittered excitedly between themselves, "Look at all of the new siblings we soon shall have!""
