I fully agree: for me, Crissi is not bad, she wants to save her kind... but as diplomat, she sucks. That has been the basis for one of my RPs, where her daughter offers herself to work for Equestria, to atone her mother's mistakes (as the Hayvenger Chameleon) and where, in the final battle against Equestria's alien invaders, Chrysalis herself fight side by side with Luna and Celestia.
