I don't have a name for him yet, but suggestions are welcome!

I started designing him with absolutely no idea what his markings were going to look like or what his colors were going to be, so when I remembered that Vaniwisps emit the scent of something they like and their markings and colors come in later to match that, I started brainstorming what scents I like that could easily be translated into colors. Finally, it hit me, at eleven o'clock in the evening, brain tired from going to bed at four in the morning the night before and getting up at six. What do I love more that life itself most days? Coffee! Specifically, the rich, well brewed stuff that comes from the wonderful cafe and roastery just across the street from my school. So guess what I did to get a good idea of his markings.
I marched to the kitchen, Grabbed our jar of coffee grounds, opened it, and took a big ole' whiff. I know i wasn't, but remembering how I just plopped down and sniffed that every time I lost my mental image of that his markings should look like makes me wonder if I wasn't slightly high or something. (It was probably sleep deprivation, actually)

All sleep-deprivation stories aside, I had fun designing him, and I'm glad he came out as well as he did!
