I like the way you've composed the shot with a diagonal line running through the shot. The reflection stood out to me really nicely in the thumbnail. I find that the shadow causes a black hole lacking detail around the middle of the picture - I'm not sure if you would want to consider post-processing to take out the shadow a bit but it may help emphasise your composition and the reflection a bit more. Alternatively, maybe you could consider upping the contrast, sharpening the image and turning it into a black and white piece to emphasise the lines and the edges of the photo. I hope you find this helpful!

Thanks a lot for your critique. I realize now that the black hole cause a little disturbance, but I am not sure if I could correct it by post-processing (with my skills). If I get to it, I might try though.

Thanks again !!!

No worries - though sometimes things can't be edited out in the photo you've made. Although using RAW and photoshop I found help magnificently.

What a beautiful, calming scenery. I like your point of view and the reflections in the water. I also think it's really good that your HDR processing is natural (maybe this sentence doens't make any sense, but I don't know in what way I can say this).

Thanks a lot !

Your sentence makes a lot of sense. I've done very "unnatural" HDRs

You're welcome!

You see a lot of these unnatural HDR's. I prefer the more natural.

I don't know much about HDR so I'll just comment on the visible aspects if thats ok.

The image is really sharp- it's not blurry in the slightest and the vibrance of the red in the flowers really demonstrates what your camera can do in terms of colour capturing. It's a truly lovely piece and I can't wait to see more!

Great work!!!!

Perfectly OK of course

I have to say that the contrast has been upped up a bit by that HDR processing though...

Thanks you for your comment !

I remember it well! Lovely place. I've probably got a shot of this - I remember the deck, but this is the nearest that I've posted!
