I like characters with seemingly mundane abilities that have a creative slant. Which is a lot of characters in Boku No Hero.

Same here, i think it's a great help for put feelings in a story. With those kind of abilities you can have edgy situation who make the readers unable to guess what will happen next. I also like double edged/conditionnal abilities.
