So the first time in well, a long time, I make another comic. Once again this one primarily features my scout and PuffCase, but this time it's centered around the awkward timing between me getting my first unusual, and the bugged crates that resulted in what players are dubbing The Crate Depression.

For those that don't know, during quite a window on the very early morning of July 26th, certain Mann Co. Crates somehow became bugged in the latest patch for the game, causing 100% drop rates for unusuals, which are normally very rare hats with effects on them. As a result, for a moment, the prices of these crates skyrocketed on the steam market, and countless unusuals became dirt cheap. The TF2 economy got thrown into a panic as a result, and a lot of trade sites forebode trades, as trade bans were reportedly going out to people who were buying and/or selling the bugged crates.

Eventually, Valve fixed the bug and announced that any unusuals gotten from the bugged crates are untradable and unmarketable until they decide on something, which they will talk about after the weekend. I'm probably also going to do a follow up once we know of this.

So tl;dr, Latest patch caused bugged crates resulted in guaranteed unusuals, which then supposedly caused the TF2 economy to take a huge hit.

I had just happened to get my first unusual 2 days before this chaos ensued. Also, I spent $86 worth of keys on that hat, so I pretty much was stumped on whether or not I had wasted money in hindsight, considering at the time of the bug there might have been more Unusual Backwards Ballcaps with the Disco Beat Down effect in the game.

Also, for future reference, since I'm using the Kirby Air Ride model for him here, PuffCase can pretty much be portrayed with either version of a Red Kirby model depending on the expressions given to him. Only leaving this out here because I previously used the Smash 4 Kirby model for him.

And another thing, one of the classes in the 6th panel is referencing something, and it's not the BLU Heavy. Let's see if anyone gets it.
