here is a debt collector I created for a mini series about unsafe living conditions, debt collection and evictions

Name; Budget Cruncher

Species; Earth Pony

Cutie Mark and Definition; a bag being filled with money; meaning he’s a debt collector

Occupation; debt collector and host of the radio show Equestrian ICA (Inspection And Collection)

Skills; mathematics, intimidation, heavy lifting, helping others figure out their finances, easily able to figure out the value of different items, chasing down escaping debtors, organization, coffee brewing

Likes; when someone pays their debts, fresh coffee, helping others figure out their finances, his friends Clipboard Tally and Toughhide, catching troublesome debtors and documenting.

Dislikes; his brother for cheating him, troublesome debtors who try and cheat their debts, broken deadlines, spoiled coffee, when he is forced to take an item to pay off a debt and liars

Bio; Budget Cruncher was born in Fillydelphia and has a twin brother named Field Cruncher, both siblings were completely identical and both had very muscular builds, Budget Cruncher proved to be very good at mathematics and was even able to help his parents when they had to pay their taxes, Field Cruncher went into sport and became quite an accomplished athlete, however the two siblings didn’t have their cutie marks yet and were now high school seniors by this point, Field Cruncher however suffered a knee injury and was unable to continue his sports career, after graduation Budget Cruncher became a clerk in the local archives while Field Cruncher still thinking he could get rich through sports started gambling on local sporting events and racked up quite a substantial debt, Field Cruncher however had wrote his brother’s name on all his gambling slips and so he skipped town and Budget Cruncher was then forced to pay his brother’s debts, when Budget tried to explain it was his brother who owed the debts no one believed him as ‘my twin brother did it’ was the oldest excuse in the book, even though the ponies that Budget “owed” were honest ponies he was still under a lot of pressure to pay the debts, eventually a local debt collector took pity on Budget and took him as an apprentice, Budget Cruncher soon became good at debt collecting and sometimes when the debtors didn’t have enough money on them to pay immediately Budget was able to figure out reasonable compromises to both debtors and the ponies they owed, or easily able to figure out the value of a creature’s property and if they could be used to pay debts, he especially took pleasure in chasing down creatures who tried to escape from their debts even if they had enough money to pay said debts, Budget even got his Cutie Mark after a few collections but didn’t really notice until later, eventually Budget Cruncher was able to pay off the debts he “owed” but wants to find his brother and get paid back for all the money he was forced to pay back to his brothers debtors, eventually he was sent to Canterlot to give Princess Celestia both a report on debt collection in Fillydelphia and to deliver the percentage of collections that would go to the government, while in the waiting room he talked to two ponies who were also waiting to speak to the princess, their names were Clipboard Tally and Tough Kick, Budget Cruncher explained to them about how he had been cheated by his brother and how he had helped collect debts from troublesome debtors but was still owed a lot of money by his brother, Clipboard Tally talked about how some creatures in Equestria were living in unsafe living conditions and Tough Kick was angry because his apartment was having troubles with a squatter, after Clipboard Tally said ‘ponies won’t believe what we’ve been through if we don’t document it’ it gave the three ponies the idea to start a radio documentary about bad living conditions, debt collection and evictions and the three approached Princess Celestia about the idea and seeing the potential of the idea making Equestria a better place she approved the idea and helped set them up, the three would then travel Equestria doing safety inspections, debt collection and evictions, Budget Cruncher even developed a crush on Tough Kick and these emotions didn’t change even after Tough Kick revealed himself as a changeling named Toughhide, Budget Cruncher hopes to find his brother again and get paid back but with immigration to Equestria on the rise since Princess Twilight’s second coronation the three partners have been busier than ever.

Personality; very professional and doesn’t tolerate nonsense, he is blunt and straight to the point, he does feel very angry he was cheated by his own brother and wants to be reimbursed for what his brother cheated him out of, he is very close to both Clipboard Tally and Toughhide (although he’s too nervous to do anything about his crush on Toughhide), he always tries to think of reasonable compromises between debtors and the creatures they owe and can easily identify the value of different property items, he is pretty intimidating when he needs to be but is a caring sort and hates when he has to collect money from individuals that are already having a hard time, he likes to drink coffee and he likes to organize files in his free time.
