Description New upload page and we still don't have a queue option? D: Rats.
It's extremely hard to draw a horse awkwardly. They just...aren't awkward by nature.
But then you put some deer in there and whabam! any other animal looks like it's on medication.
I seriously love drawing deer, and I never worry while I'm sketching them, because no matter how you doodle their spine, chances are they can actually assume that pose.

I love seeing these beautiful pieces, and would absolutely love to see the finished product someday...these deer are so gorgeous, and even if the unicorn is supposed to be an unattractive one, I love it and think it's gorgeous!

Yeah, artists tend to love him--the cool thing is, so long as he looks different, kids will get it, whether he's actually "ugly" or not. :3 Thanks! I'm still exploring options for it, so self-publishing may be in the cards someday. Ultimately this is really just a dummy book I'm concocting to give publishers an idea of how I illustrate and what I can do.

Absolutely! Well, if it ever does get published as a full book, you should let me know because I would love to get my hands on a copy...it would go great next to my copy of The Unicorn and the Lake

I can tell! That was one of my favorite books as a kid and it is still one of my favorite books now...when I was little my mom and I made sock puppet renditions of the unicorn and the snake, I think I still have them stashed away somewhere!
