Thank you so much!

She is in an austrian zoo. It is a hand-rearing and so they would like to play.

Looking forward especially if you like it! You come from the land of the tiger ......!

I live in West bengal - the place that gives the name 'The Royal Bengal Tiger' once to Indian tiger. The biggest home for tigers - The Sundarbon is just within 100 km from my home. If you go through the 'Landscape' folder then you will found pictures of 'The Sundarbon' there.

But to visit a tiger in the wild is extremely difficult; as normally tigers remain hidden in the forest and the forests where they are found are usually very dence. They like to stay inside tall grasses (Phoenix Paludos,Nypafruitcans (thunb) Wurmb - tall grasslike mangrove plant). Besides this, their number has reduced so alarmly that it makes doubly difficult to see them in wild.

By the by, I'm going on a tiger safary at Jim Corbett National Park in the next month. Hope I'll be able to take at least one picture. Last time we went there we trackked a tiger but it remained inside totally hidden.

Oh, I envy you for this tour. It is so sad when I hear how few of this race are still living in freedom. Thus, the inbreeding is soon very strong. I would like to visit your country but I have for this trip is not enough money. So I have to wait ... to better time and hope, there are still wild tigers in Bengal.

My fascination is true but primarily for the people! The smells and colors I'd like to see and experience. The culture feel and so I need a lot of time ....!

Yes that is very important to understand a place and its people. Otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the place properly also. Also, pray for the fulfillment of the all requirements, so that you can come here very soon. We bangalies are also very tame people like tigers!( to quote great Jim Corbet - Tigers are pure gentleman with a very large heart and endless bravery)

Bye.Β

This is so typical of domesticated cats, and apparently wild cats as well. Β I don't know why it surprises me to see a shot like this, but it does. Β I adore cats, large and small...can you tell?

I love your photo!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

brijome In reply to akcattykit [2013-11-17 07:32:49 +0000 UTC]

It is very simple to explain: This large cat has been raised by humans. Therefore, the behavior is like a house cat.

Thank you very much!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

akcattykit In reply to brijome [2013-11-17 07:42:18 +0000 UTC]

Do you really think that is the reason? Β I just think it's cat personality in general. Β

You're welcome, I do love the shot!

BeccaB323 In reply to akcattykit [2013-11-19 17:18:02 +0000 UTC]

I agree, I think it is overall cat personality. It takes generations for an animal to change- being raised by humans instead of their natural wild pack. Very cute picture though
