Ahhhh, I miss that show. It sucked that they stopped it where they did, I so wanted to see what happened next.

I understand when series leave intrigue and such in the last episode to ensure people will watch the next season... but that's 4 series now that the final episode of the last series aired left a question the size of a T-Rex, got canceled, and nobody ever bothered to bloody say anything.
I finally remember the series about a year and a half later and go, "shouldn't that have come back on at some point?" Lo and behold, canceled.
No Ordinary Family, Angela's Eyes, Birds of Prey, and most painfully; Blood Ties. Why is Blood Ties the most painful? Because it was this totally AWESOME show about a private detective who teams up with a vampire when crimes start getting supernatural.
After the first season, I didn't hear "boo" about it, which was really a bummer. I liked the detective; she was all serious and such which just made her adorable to me. Then about a year later I saw the exact same premise in another show called "Moon"... um, Struck, I think. Moon-something. Anyway, same premise, but instead of awesomeness they had execrable amounts of drama and the vampire was a total wuss-bucket as opposed to wisdom-spouting bad-ass comic book artist on Blood Ties. And as far as I paid attention, I saw it have at least 3 seasons.
Shows with silly things like real thought and good writing and character arcs are getting canceled left and right, yet stuff like Private Practice and Extreme Couponing enter season after season.
...shoot me, it'll hurt less.

It sucks i know. i am still reeling about the ending to "Carnivale", a show that only lasted two seasons on HBO, But it was fantastic. I would love to see that show at least resolved.

I agree, there are more than a few shows that I would like to see resolved at the very least. I'm not asking for another season or even an online miniseries.
I seriously would not even care if each and every one of them did an hour or two long special where they tied up all the loose ends with more manic energy than a man with a fear of loose string trapped in a shoelace factory with nothing to drink but espresso.
Probably because I'm able to follow stuff like that, (thank you, Excel Saga). ;}
Unfortunately, mankind has yet to realize my genius, so this plan will largely go unfulfilled.

Well, perhaps it's best that the entirety of humanity not hinge on the word of one slightly insane female. I would do a lot of good, but I wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing a few unwholesome things with the power as well.
