Description
I have started experimenting with polymer clay directly on resin. I was thrilled to see that that resin can actually withstand oven heat 130 Celsius (the temp. for hardening polymer clay). It opened up for new possibilities.
Made with epoxy resin and polymer clay. Gilded with silver leaf.

To tell you the truth, I was a little nervous the first time a piece went in the oven. I kind of expected to pull out a half-melted, foul-smelling pool of plastic. But all it did was tint the resin a bit yellow

I thought so, I would have moved away from it even a second, fire-extinguisher right by my side
