are face adornments not in here? like the extra makeup or eye colors you can pick from?

i put the full nude textures of the body in Elin Base Pack.7z
extract the archive, they're in the "PC_UnderWear 00_textures" folder, two different options and default textures with gray shit. just take them from the desired folder and copy these textures with replacement to the main folder with the model (where the Outfit.mesh file is located)
or use material editor in XPS program

Hi can you explain in more detail how to use this base character and all the variations? I like to create/save/use poses in XPS, but what if I wanted to use Elin Event 15 as a character and save poses to it (so if I open XPS another day, I can load this character up, and load those poses I created, but not have to load the same scene, just the pose)? Do I have to create a new character using combinations of other parts? I don't understand this method of character loading. In all the other times I've used XPS, all you have to do is click "Add Model(s) - Choose character - done", its so much more simple, and more powerful if it lets us save/load poses.
Better yet, is there any chance you can make some "normal method" versions of these characters (for people like me who aren't as skilled with XPS) so its more easy to work with? I find this method too confusing lol, I haven't used XPS in a long time too

Can poses be saved with the model?
I'm constantly getting an error when i try and save a pose. So i'm trying to figure out if it's only on my end.

well, character and outfit meshes are locked so you can't save a pose,
but you can save the scene and load poses if necessary.

also i figure out what you can rename those character and outfit meshes to "generic_item", then load and export with "Export scene as .mesh" in a separate folder. then poses can be saved.

I feel something in my life doesn't want me to work with these cute Elins.
Just tried what you said and the model in the new folder turns into a monster when i move any bone. >.<

strange, it works fine for me. what parts did you use? you renamed them as generic_item.mesh?
can you give me a screenshot of the problem and an archive with this new folder?

Do have a quick question though. Is there a way to say the head/outfit/hair combinations as its own model? Or do I just have to save scenes for that?

Bringess In reply to witch-hunting [2018-01-25 18:55:59 +0000 UTC]
usually the model can be connected in parts on the fly, but if you want to save the whole model with certain parts - possibly saving the scene would be the best option i think.

Yeah, that seems to work the best. I only asked because I'm having trouble properly saving poses with them, so I wasn't sure if that had to do with it.

i figure out what you can rename "Character" and "Outfit" meshes to "generic_item", then load your head, hears, outfit and export with "Export scene as .mesh" in a separate folder. then poses can be saved.

What kind of sorcery did you use to do this? I'm truly amazed.
And here i thought i was gonna have to mesh mod all these parts together to make them work. O,O

Bringess In reply to SnowTheWinterKitsune [2018-01-22 23:29:18 +0000 UTC]
hahaha yeah you don't need to read tons of manuals how to make a meshmod or stuff like that.
just a simple XPS wardrobe feature like people use for models from Injustice 2. this was done for easy to use
so that even newbies could make and pose their custom character. i spent a lot of time putting this pack together and now i can add any costumes separately without problems for this pack.

Ah cool. Always thought that function was just for alternate clothing colors without the need for all the extra files.
Never knew it could be used this way.
