I recently reread the arc and when Mimi came back near the end and Ruby gave his little speech on beauty...
I cried harder than I did the first time I read it; I cried like a baby
that scene is my favorite one in the manga
Mimi, you would be my favorite dexholder's Pokemon if it weren't for Gold's badass gambling Togepi stealing away first place
(resttalking Milotic's always been a member of my own team because I love Milotic, but my Milotic could never be as awesome as Ruby's...)
