I hit over hundred watchers today! I never thought I'd get so many, and in so little time, too. Thank you to everyone who's watching me. I love each and every one of you.
Have a picture of Kalas from Baten Kaitos to celebrate! He's one of my favorite game characters ever. (Yes, I love him more than Green.)
Now to get on the rest of those art trades.
Lineart/colored in SAI, finished up in Photoshop CS3 with textures from Aethereality and brushes from Brusheezy.

for some reason, it has a bit of kalas and xhela combined... I guess it must be because of the wings...
still, it looks so nice OwO
and baten kaitos is such a wonderfull game x3... it's the best rpg on the gamecube, and I think namco has done a great job to match up to final fantasy with this one!

I agree with you! It's definitely the best RPG on the Gamecube (I've played Tales of Symphonia, too, and I still think Baten Kaitos is much better).
And I have! It's really hard for me to pick a favorite of the two, but I'm still leaning towards the first one. :>

my gf is playing tales of symphonia, and I dont think it's a bad game, just that uhm, there is a clear difference between battle mode and story line... I think...
hmm, when I was first playing BK II and I entered the battle system, I was SOO dissapointed! cause this totaly didnt had any logic in the card system... but now you've got more magnus, it's way more fun to make the relay combo =3
plus I like the mystery of what exactly is the point of sagi's "visions and flashbacks" I just cant put my finger on it...

I've played almost all of the Tales games, and their battle systems are one of my favorite. However their stories tend to leave a lot to be desired. :<
I like both of Baten Kaitos battle systems equally~ I love how the first one has the sort of poker aspect to it with making pairs or full houses or whatever, and the second one has all the awesome EX combos. The Apotheosis is still one of my favorite attacks (if you'd call it that) in a game.
I know what you mean about Sagi's flashbacks. I liked those, too, and though they added a different aspect to the story. ;O

I guess the most anoying parts are the furry fabric of his pants and his gloves, because the gloves one has 2 different colours in between them... that pattern is really hard to find ;w;
hmm... I guess I should start playing those games then ^^
uhuh! the first one is epic because of the buildt up combo system, and the second one is nice thanks to the relay, I think it's just a matter of getting used to it, and understanding what to do how and when =3
I'm not sure what apotheosis is, I dont think I encountered it yet... is it sagi's move?
uhuh! it makes you have 2 flashbacks alltogether, because at first when I thought "baten kaitos: Origins is going to be a prequal which takes place 20 years before all the events from part 1" I thought it would already have all the islands together, but now you see that sagi "goes back in time" and all, it's really awesome OwO

Yeah, the furry parts do look like they would be hard to make. ;3; If I ever cosplayed, I don't think I would have the patience to make my own outfits... I admire you for having the patience and drive to do that.
I'm curious to know what you think of them if you ever play them.
The Apotheosis is one of Sagi's combos when you put Scension + Ascension + Transcension + The Godling's Rapture. It's so awesome, and sometimes I'll stall in battle just to get the right combo to pull it off. Sometimes I end up dying in the process of passing my cards, but that's okay. orz

oh well... I've already made 5 other cosplays in my live, and am planning to make many more... it is hard to do it yourself, but the self-respect and pride you get after finnishing is worth the countless of long nights spend on it <333

yeah, I think that one flopped... I mean, baten kaitos: origins wasnt even released here in europe, I had to buy the american one with a freeloader to play it... so I guess they didnt want to finnish the 3rd one cause they were afraid for the losses... plus it would require some massive effects and graphicing to make it look that good on the ds..

I'm still really hoping that they make another BK game for the Wii or something. ;3; I think that the world is so creative and that they could do so much more with it!

uhuh! although I wonder what they are gonna do with the wiimote and the card selectin system... because pointing at the cards and the specific corners like the first game isnt gonna be easy with the wiimote... but yeah, who knows what they might do OwO

I haven't seen any of the trailers, actually, I've been reading about it in Nintendo Power instead. But here's what they showed on it at E3 last year.

I guess they changed the name to Xenoblade, too. It's not supposed to have any relation to Xenosaga or Xenogears, though. (It's a spiritual successor?)
