wow the shadow is amazing to see what it does to this piece. you often draw in the stool or the drapery that the model is on but you don't always have a shadow... i guess the model is not always against a wall either. i know our models are in the middle of the room. but this shadow is really good.

Actually, the model was in the center of the room, but I felt that he desperately needed something to tie him to - so I conjured up a shadow.

I like the different ranges of watercolor applied. And still being able to capture the volume as well. Especially the left arm and leg area.
