Description
Three one-minute gestures in sepia ink on half-sheet Arches HP paper 2008. Also titled 'TG Is Friday' and was juried in to April 2009 Capitol Hill Art League show, the June 2009 McLean Ramp show, and finally donated to a silent auction for a charitable organization in 2011.Related content

I always admire so fresh and brief kind of drawing, maybe because i have quite different technique and head full of oodles details

A little delay Jan. I just looked at what I did and it lacks almost all the grace that your original photo "becoming" possesses, so I will try again. But, rest assured, eventually, I will post something. I have never tried to do a figure work, either 2-D or 3-D, from anything other than a live model before. Barrie

I may try and ask a model here to assume a similar pose so that I can get a better 3-D visualization of her - that's why at the time I asked if you took some shots at other angles. In any case, I will cite you and the model. Barrie

Thanks Audrey - the inks are a lot of fun and are more forgiving then it appears - just use confident sweeping lines and gestural approach - and have fun.
