They didn't. They're making a whole new animation, this time, really close to the manga c: Obviously this new version (regarding to the hantahanta's story) is way better than the old one

lol that's what i meant by "continued". cuz even though they continued the series through the remake . :'D
before it was stuck at the gon teleporting with killua and they see the shadow of the dude. =~= i did not like that ending.
