Description

Having dropped out of school at a young age, Abner didn’t really have much in the way of opportunities in life, leading to him following the path to becoming a gangster in 1920′s era America. Abner’s life seemed to take a turn for the worst when a fellow gang member managed to frame him for something he didn’t do, leading to his boss deciding to ‘do away with him’.

The next thing Abner knew was that he had become a cute little poodle boy by the name of Fujimi. He had been pulled into the Tooniverse, where he was greeted by The Cartoonist who informed him of his brand new cartoon life.

As ‘Fujimi’, he was a toon poodle living as a family pet in modern era Japan. Energetic, friendly, and rather ditzy, ‘Fujimi’ could understand verbal Japanese, but had no way of understanding how to read or write it, due to a lack of focus and interest. This managed to only compound on his confusion as ‘Abner’ as well, as Abner never once in his life saw Japanese text. ‘Fujimi’ also had no way of speaking to his owners or most other humans as whatever he says comes off as barking and gibberish.

Now being in a Modern Era Japan, it presented a bit of a culture shock in the way of technology and concepts that Abner knew nothing about from his old life. He didn’t understand computers... and neither did the character of ‘Fujimi’. At the most, ‘Fujimi’ really just understood television and how to get to video streaming services and games.

The family also had another pet. A Siamese cat by the name of Mocha, who Fujimi looked up to as a big sister. Despite Mocha having a mischievous streak with a love of the weird and creepy, she is friendly and quite protective of Fujimi, as well as pretty laid back unless provoked.
