I like that you used a revolver. It looks pretty much like the .32 Police Positive Bronson actually uses. By any chance, do you know which gun Paul Benjamin uses in the book? From the different cover arts, it looks like a S&W model 36.

Cheers pal, no idea about the book though I've never read it I used the DVD case as a reference and the gun he was holding on that just didn't look right to me

You're right, because the gun on the cover was from the third movie. The Wildey was Bronson's personal weapon. Why it's on the cover for the first film is beyond me. They should have just stuck with the original poster of Bronson in the park turning around and shooting with the revolver.
The book, i am afraid i haven't read, but Brian Garfield's message was different from what micheal winner wanted. Garfield condoned vigilantism as opposed to winner who ignores the message and sort of in a way advocates vigilantism.
I recommend that you watch Death Sentence. It is loosely based on Garfield's books Death Wish and Death Sentence. It's about a guy who takes justice into his own hands and pays the consequences. Directed by James Wan of the Saw series.

Yeah, that was awesome. Saw it on FX. As for The Brave One, can't say I it, but i'd like to watch it. I liked the train scene.

Fantastic bit that, it's a shame Kevin Bacon isn't about as much anymore because he was great in the right roles

Yeah. I haven't seen much Kevin Bacon. But i think he fit well portraying Sean Devine in Mystic River. That was Dennis Lehane's best novel(or tie with Gone Baby Gone or Shutter Island) and an opera of a movie.

I did like Mystic River a lot more than I thought I would, the adverts for it didn't do it much justice

Yeah. But I'm glad that i read the book first. I was really hoping that Jimmy would listen to Dave, his childhood friend. That he would really listen to what he had to say. But then that bitch Annabeth came tried to blame it all on Celeste. If Lehane wrote a sequel to Gone, Baby, Gone, then I hope he writes one about Mystic River. He has a lot to work with. Jimmy's kids, Dave's son.
