Description
using various punctuation (because punctuation tends to be very light when in large blocks) i've filled in the BG, the sink and the tub. you'll notice that the BG doesn't change much between this pic and the final draft. I don't care much about BGs, they only serve to tie a figure to a definite space.
there is a dark trim on the tiled wall behind the figure, it may look odd now but as i refine the figure, the trim will drop into the BG

after the BG was intact, i lightened some areas of the figure using Is
