Ancient Egyptian version of Amy: Aneski

Aneski had an average beginning. Her mom had been training to be a priestess and so Aneski grew up in the palace. Her father was unknown; her mother told her he had died when she was still young. Due to her living situation, the young Aneski became close friends with the other children who also happened to live at the palace. Including the future pharaoh, Atem.

Although she and the Atem did have share a love affair, she did not have the chance to officially be with him in the end. Instead, she became the Great Royal Wife of Priest Set, once he took over the throne of Egypt after Atem sacrificed his life to save Egypt. Even still, she never forgot her first love.

Her life’s work was preserving the legacy of the Nameless Pharaoh. She used her title and power to make sure no one would forget what he had done to save Egypt, and ultimately the world. She passed this work onto her other children, who then eventually became the clan known as the Tomb Keepers.

Her dying wish, as she neared the end of her natural life, was to be born again in time to meet the reincarnation of her beloved Pharaoh. She hoped that in that life, they could live out the love story they had been denied in the past. Enter, Amy Valtore.
