Description
So, based off my drawing of Mettaton, I decided to make a posable doll of him.

Crocheting the doll was a lot of work, but I was filled with determination to finish it. It took about a total of 25 hours to make.

Materials:
Original crochet pattern designed by me
Size 10 crochet thread in various colors
1.5 mm crochet hook
16 gauge craft wire
Embroidery needle
Polyester Fiberfil

He is about 12 inches tall (1/6 human scale) and has a wire armature so he can pose dramatically. A doll stand helps him stay up. His face and details are hand embroidered and his hair was placed strand by strand onto his head.

He’s the second humanoid video game character doll I have done. The first was Lightning from Final Fantasy, which you can see here:

I used a lot of what I learned while creating her to create Mettaton, and I think he is an overall improvement on my doll making process.

He is one of a kind.
