Hmm... I really quite like him. Unfortunately the scanner missed a TON of the detail, this looks much better in real life. T.T As for gender... I think it's a really feminine guy. That's open to debate, though. *yawn* He's a mixture of a few characters that are actually being used in my comic project, but I'll say no more on that now. I drew him completely while I was sitting on this computer seat. I was going to stop drawing him and go to sleep, but I had to continue drawing him, because he began to mean more to me than just a drawing. I was going through a "style crisis" you see, and then I found out my stepdad has decided to come here tomorrow, which is always frustrating because he and I don't get along at all. So I drew, and I put as much detail into it as possible. I got a ton of inspiration from looking at *BigBoyBoon 's amazing gallery. XD If you want to color this, BTW, note me, and I'll post a highres.EDIT: I made the lines a bit darker and the hand a bit worse (sorry!
) There is also a 300dpi version now available in my scraps section in b&w for coloring purposes. So you'll be able to see how messy my pencils really are! anybody who fixes the hand gets a cookie. Also, do my edits resubmit my pics to your galleries? O.o I really hope they don't.

Ah, this is very beautiful! I'm sorry I'm so late to comment! *bows head in shame* Aw, and don't worry so much about the hand! It's not too bad at all and there is so much else going on in the piece that it's hardly noticeable. I really love how the piece draws your eye around in sort of a spiral! NEAT! I must +fav! ^___^
I'm tempted to try to color the hi-res one, but I think I would have to print it and do it traditionally. Is that okay? I won't post it on DA if it turns out really bad.

Oh! Thank you! My digital media work is still really shakey and wouldn't suit the picture well. I shall try my best with markers! <3 I'm glad you think I am good with them. I find them a bit nerve-wracking at some crucial points in the picture because there is no convinient way (in my opinion) to fix mistakes. XD

Oh! Their works are gorgeous! I'd heard of Hirohiko Arai (I really want to see Jojo someday T.T) but Kobayashi Tomomi is a new name to me. Her work is simply beautiful, totally the sort of stuff I aspire to be able to do someday.
Hmm... 80's fashion? That's a new one to me, but I like it. 80's fashion here in the U.S. was a lot of big hair and shoulder pads, both things I like to include in my drawings XD Was 80's fashion similar in Thailand? Oh yeah, I also prefer the style of most of the older animes to the newer ones, so that may be where it comes from as well. (I grew up watching Macross before anime became popular in the U.S.)

well I think 80's fasion in Thailand was way looks like the western's (but not so much Shoulder pads,LoL) I think I love the 80's clothe patterns the best.
You like Macross too!!??? wow~ I really into Macross7 when I was about 13,it's the everyones're so crazy about GundamW,but I think Macross was better for me. (at first I love the Firebomber,but when Kamrin was heartbreak I turned to be his fan LoL.)

oh christ ;o; your drawings are so gorgeous. a pity about the scan, but this image is striking anyhow. i like the delicate anatomy and his face is just beautiful! the only problem is the hand looking scribbly, but what the hell.
i can see the Boon influence in the lines, i would totally camp out on his gallery and fantasize about being good some day lolz XD

True about the hand. He's supposed to be wearing thimbles and a glove, but it looks off, especially with all the details missing. I'll try and fix that tonight, thanks for pointing it out!

yes. scanner r stupid. they destroy works. but i can see this work is really strong and powerful. very crazy detailed stuff here. if he had boobs than he'll look no difference from a woman lol. immah fave it!! hurray to traditional.

Don't I know it about the scanners. Traditional in particular, almost always looks far more impressive in real life than on a computer screen. And yesh... I kept on switching back and forth even while I was drawing between thinking it was a really feminine guy, or a strong-featured woman.
