Supergirl is DONE! I'm planning on getting better photos soon!I made the whole thing from scratch, I would like to say about 12 hous were put into it.

A half-day well spent I reckon... This is a very well-crafted replica of the New 52 outfit worn by Supergirl. The shield and cape look especially well done, in particular.
Overall a splendid job, keep it up! 
Any other cosplays in mind or you're thinking of taking a break?

Thank you so much! I never take breaks from costuming, I'm either going to make a classic Jean Grey costume or the Before Watchmen Silk Spectre next. I'm also planning on making a Fem Shep costume in the near future but that won't be finished for a while

I'm willing to guess costuming is WAY too much fun to even consider taking a break. Sounds like you've got quite a road ahead of you.
Just curiosity rearing its head, did you only get into Supergirl more recently or has she always been a part of your life?
Maybe the New 52 is perhaps your favourite costume from the 50+ years she's been in publication?

I actually had not read any Supergirl till the New 52 and I just really liked her and the costume. Now I want to go back and read her older stuff

Well, I know of someone who created an entire chronology of Supergirl costumes since her first publication in 1959. It's dated before the New 52 series but I'm sure it can certainly give you some ideas (if by any small chance you run out, shock and horror!

All well and good, I'll admit the costume took a little bit of getting used to, but it certainly gives her a more "alien warrior" look compared to her previous outfits. Some people, and that includes you, tend to replicate that costume amazingly, as well.
