Sheesh tell me about it! This took so long, so much detail and the cel shading on top of it, Gah! But I'm glad I actually finished it, I have the lines partly done for about a 3-month span before I got the gumption up to finish it.

Oh me too! I ended up looking at a ton of ref. for peacocks to get some ideas and decided 1. to make a good peacock I had to have the tail displayed, I wasn't going to have the tail down because it's be easy, I had to show the whole thing. 2. I didn't want it head on like most pictures you see. So this was my compromise.
