So, yesterday when I went to the Comic Con, I got to meet Todd Nauck ( ) for the 3rd or 4th time and had him to draw my character Kitzi for me ^_^ I cosplayed as Kairi for the day and I had such a bad headache and I didn't get alot of sleep the night before... I musta looked like I was on something xD I had no makeup on and my eyes were all droopy. But I had fun ^_^ I got to meet Puffy Ami Yumi too, but they didn't allow pictures T_T Todd is always awesome though. Very genuine, socialable, and sweet ^_^ He always remembers my face and my name and even remembers little details of things I'd told him from previous times I'd met him. Makes me feel so special xD I definitely reccomend if you've got the opportunity to meet him at a show, do it! He's an awesome artist and an awesome person.

wow looking at this picture reminds me of when i had a comic book artist draw bart simpson i didnt have a
sketch book with me so i let him draw a bust on the back of my poster.

Todd is an awesome individual! I have several commissions from him and always seek him out first when he is attending a local Southern California convention.

oh man he's really sweet i met him last year in Long Beach. I gave him a crappy Raven drawing and he was smiling and all and he said Thank you and a lot of other nice things and i was like going to cry because no one's ever complimented me on anything in real life and when he said that this other guy who i was talking to while we were waiting to meet him in line started complimenting me too and i was so happy this man is magic.

Awesome! I remember the work of Nauck in Young Justice, is a great artist! (and one of the hundreds were was swamped by horrible comics colorists). And the drawing is amazing! Congratulations!

I don't mind xD I forget if it was $45 or $40, but it was one of those, and depending on detail, it can go higher. And he usually only does a bust, he won't do full bodies. Maybe if you asked he would, but it would probably be alot more money.

I don't mean to be a dampen all your excitement, but just don't expect a huge following right away with dA, it takes a long time to generate traffic and fans to your page. I suggest finding groups that are related to the pieces of work you're submitting, like original characters groups or superhero groups, inked drawings groups, anything you can get your work into, and asking the admin if you can submit your work into their group, go for groups with more followers, because you'll expose your work to people that don't watch you yet. Just telling you from experience because I've been here for over 4 yrs now and I'm only starting to get recognized for my artwork cause I figured out how to work this system and reach a broader audience
