Made the official start of the Leopard 2 A7+ project this evening. Still waiting for some of the supplies I ordered, but the early stages don't involve much more than what's in the box.

Every tank I've made so far invariably starts with the wheels, suspension and undercarriage, and the A7+ was no different. Was tempting to just jump ahead and do something different, but I decided to follow the instructions to be sure I didn't miss something that might be different in this version.

Here's the main drive gears, idlers and road wheels, ready to be assembled.

As an interesting side note, from what I've been able to find, even though this is Germany's most advanced tank, the German army doesn't currently use it! Only a few countries that they have been exported to currently use them in service. If anyone has any additional or contrary info let me know and I'll update this.
