Chapter 11- The Battle

"Mai, what do you want from Katara?" said Zuko.
"Oh nothing, I just want her dead!" said Mai. Mai then dropped to the floor as she felt the floor move. "What the hell?"
"Ha, you really must be stupid if you think you can really take us on, Mai." Mai turned and saw the blind earth bender and the fire nation princess.
Mai laughed, "You're the idiot, I have a secret weapon," she said.
"Oh really," said Toph. Toph laughed, "You still are stupid, we are stronger then you and you 'secret weapon'."
"Azula," Mai said, "The Fire Lord has won the war." Toph Gasped. She noticed that Azula's heart beat changed. Azula grew an evil grin and fired at Toph. Toph immediately blocked herself with earth bending.
"YOU CRAZY BITCH!" screamed Toph, "You hypnotized her!"
Azula laughed, "You really thought I would be good, you're all idiots for believing I was good," said Azula
"Mai, you should be the one who is dead," said Zuko. He threw fire toward Mai but she blocked it.
"I'm surprised earth bender, your stronger then the last time fought," said Azula as she laughed.
Toph smiled, "You haven't seen nothing yet Azula," said Toph as she fought against Azula.

Aang gasped. He knew something was going on. "Aang," said Katara, "What's wrong?"
"I have a feeling something is going on right now," he said. Katara and Sokka looked at him.
"Is is something bad?" Sokka asked.
"Yeah, it is, I think we should go back to the palace quick," Aang said as he made Appa turn.
"Aang, but what about Katara, she is in danger," said Sokka
"So is Toph, Azula and Zuko," said Aang.
"Aang you better be right about this," said Katara.
"I am right about this."

Toph leaned against the wall. She breathed heavily. "Hey Azula, is that all you got," she said and attacked Azula.
"I'm not finished yet earth bender, I was just getting started," Azula said as she attacked Toph back. Toph threw boulders at Azula. One of the boulders hit Azula, but she got back up. "You bitch," she said to Toph. "I know your weakness earth bender," Azula said. Azula jumped into the air, knowing Toph can't see her and threw fire toward Toph. Toph felt the heat from the fire but she wasn't fast enough. Toph tried to block it as quick as she can but it was too late. The fire burned her left arm. Toph dropped to the ground in pain.
"AZULA!" screamed Toph, "I WILL KILL YOU!"
Azula laughed, "You can't fight anymore earth bender, I think I should just kill you since you're no use anymore," Azula said. She shot fire out of her hands and aimed it at Toph but her blue fire was stopped by red and orange fire. "ZuZu, you're such an idiot for trying to save this peasant."
"Shut up Azula," said Zuko.  Azula looked over at Mai and saw her on the floor.
"You gave up already Mai?" Azula asked.
"Not just yet Azula," Mai said laughing as she got up.
"That's what I thought," said Azula. Azula began to fight her brother. Mai walked toward Toph, knowing she was now venerable. When she reached Toph, she pulled out a knife and held it on Toph's neck.
"What are you going to do? Kill me?" said Toph
"Of course I am going to kill you idiot," said Mai, "Any last words?"
"Yeah I do have some last words to say," Toph grinned. "You're the one who is going to be dead, not me."
Mai grew mad, "You little BITC-" Mai was cut off when she felt someone grab the back of her neck.
"I don't think you should do that," said a manly voice, "I don't want to get married without her," said the voice, again. Mai was thrown by the man who grabbed her.
"What took you so long twinkle toes?" said Toph. Aang picked her up from the floor.
"Appa could fly fast enough," he said. He handed her to Sokka, "Take her away from here now, Sokka," said Aang, "Katara heal her arm, I will finish this." They both nodded. Sokka began to run with Toph.
"Aang," said Katara, "Are you going to kill her?"
"She almost Toph, and she want to kill you, so yeah she is going to die," said Aang.
"You think you can do this?" she asked. Aang nodded and ran toward Mai. Katara was worried. Aang never killed anyone before. Katara ran away from the battle. Aang grabbed Mai and held her down to the floor.
"You almost killed my fiancé, and for that you're dead" he said. Mai pulled a knife out. She was about to stab Aang with it but Aang stopped her. He grabbed the knife and stabbed her in the chest.
"You… You asshole," Mai mumbled saying her last word.
"You're done, Mai." Aang said. He left her on the ground as she suffered.
"DIE BROTHER!" Azula screamed as she ran to attack Zuko. Zuko ran toward her as well. Fire came out of both their hands. As soon as they touched, they flew in different directions. They both hit walls but Azula was hit the hardest. She didn't move at all. Aang ran to help Zuko.
"Is she… is she dead?" Zuko asked. Aang's head moved side to side.
"No, I think she is unconscious," said Aang.
"Where is Katara?" he asked, "Is Toph okay?"
"They are both fine," said Aang
"Thank goodness," said Zuko

"Aang, I am fine, you can leave me alone now," said Toph.
"I'm not leaving," said Aang. Toph signed and smiled.
"You're an idiot, but you're my idiot," she said. Aang smiled.
"So are you sure you want to marry me?" he asked.
"Yes but if you ask me one more time I am going to say no," she said.
"I promise I won't ask anymore," said Aang.
"Good," she said, "I love you."
"I love you too," Aang said he laid a kiss on her lips.

"Is she awake yet?" whispered Katara.
"No, but your brother hasn't left her side even when I told him she was hypnotized by Mai," said Zuko
"What if she wakes up and starts to attack?" asked Katara.
"She isn't going to wake up anytime soon," said Zuko, "Besides I was thinking I should try to find a way to make her good again."
"Well, do something about her because I don't want her to kill my brother, he would be her first target," said Katara. Zuko kissed her on the cheek.
"I got it under control, Katara," said Zuko.
"I trust you."
