guys spoilers if you dont want to read this ok so im warning you in the end sissie,D and fluffy are all ghost representing the dukes past sissie was his girl friend D was probably a guy that the duke went to school with but i still dont know what fluffy represents but in the end david's mother dies the three people you helped were all from the dukes past and you almost shot yourself in the head if you dont let paul punch you in the face to get the good ending also ps shirley and david get back together in the end so yeah just read this if youve finished the game i dont want to be blamed for spoilers i warned you guys

I think Fluffy is Duke as a child and D is Duke when he was in college. As for Sissi I agree that she represents Duke's old girl friend, though if I'm understanding the time line within the game there's a good chance the the real "Sissi" is still alive somewhere...

I see it as the Croocked Man is a kind of "omni-presence" as in the game *spoilers* the make references in the hospital level to people who meet a similar fate to Duke that would have been before him.
