Description
Overview:
Say hello to my second OC, Empress Tiranna of Maelstrom. The first female leader in the Empire’s history and boasting an impressive résumé, she is as worshipped by her people as she is feared by criminals for her dedication to maintaining law and order – by whatever means necessary.
To briefly summarize, she is the 39-year-old woman who earned the title of Emperor, or in this case Empress, after competing and succeeding in the previous ruler’s trials to determine a successor. How Maelstrom’s heroine was able to become such an indominable figure goes back to when she was young.
Tiranna was discovered as a baby by a goblin village who raised and worshiped her from then on under the belief she was the reincarnation of a Goddess. While such a conclusion may have seen hasty at the time, her actions from then on cemented these claims. Whether it be her subduing an entire bandit enclave at the tender age of twelve or restoring a decaying plantation field, miracles surrounded the woman until she was as household a name as the Emperor himself.
Mind:
As a result of the life she’s experienced, even the Empress regards herself as the Goddess reborn and lives under that role. Like a deity, she views her decisions as absolute and expects all others to kneel before because of this knowledge. This is not because of arrogance or smugness however. Tiranna, as a Goddess, does not fall prey to such human flaws. Instead she simply knows she is everyone’s better and acts accordingly. Seeing the bigger picture, she’ll remove obstacles through whatever means necessary if it suits her end goals.
This perspective has led to several decisions that, if the Empire’s citizens knew about, might have caused some questions. For instance, using the goblins who raised her as a secret group that could help eliminate interferences - like an obnoxious noblewoman that tried stirring doubt over the Empress’ lineage having her carriage ambushed. While most would show some hesitation in making such commands, Tiranna boldly orders what will provide the best outcome regardless of mortal ethics.
Body:
Maelstrom’s regal leader stands tall at 5’9 with a figure many describe as ‘heavenly’. As one would expect from a woman holding the elegant title of Empress, her figure is captivating – from busty assets to the slim but sturdy figure she carries herself with. From an early age Tiranna trained her endurance in order to withstand the toll of the more heftier spells she can now cast with ease. Even in sword-wielding she fares adequately, able to dispatch common rogues that foolishly attempt a kidnapping.
Tiranna sports a primarily gold dress that covers the legs up to her bosom and features white markings along the garment. Over top her shoulders is a short white cape thinly bordered by golden lining that’s held around her neck by a gold-and-ruby-beaded necklace. A pair of long black gloves, matching her hair, cover her hands entirely and stretch up past the elbows while golden bracelets wrap around each wrist and a ring, with a ruby encased inside, rests along her right middle finger. The same crimson color is found from her matching round earrings and makeup. Tiranna’s normally long raven hair is tied into a strict bun to keep it from hanging down the back while her emerald green eyes stare down all she speaks to.
For as strong and stoic as she appears, the Empress does have moments of levity that are rarely seen but never forgotten by the audience. Those that try to stop her plans or ‘expose’ her past actions being rightfully subdued and left to her judgement being one of those scenarios, as is tucking a loved one into bed.
Credit and Thanks:
First, huge thanks to for his help literally developing her. I'm so happy with the end result and highly recommend you check out his work, if you somehow haven't already. The next shout-out goes to , whose bio layout I've now copied twice and who helped me flesh out her character. A final thanks goes to for helping with some edits and read-throughs.

Well, she 's quite a stunning character and will really take pleasure in reading what she has in store for the other character belonging to that nice universe you're litterally putting to life^^ Can't wait to read her story and how she acts seeing she's a goddess in form and act too...
But I'm sure someone will be able to put her down her pedestal some days... just we wait^^

I gotta say. I think the thing that comes to me about this the most is how low key the source of Tirrana's self-righteous delusions of divinity are. She's basically a human mage who was raised up by lowly goblins, to whom, a towering magic capable human would seem like a empowered titan. Which seems to give her this matter of fact kind of view to her own superiority, and of the righteousness of her own actions, without it coming off as hypocritical. All those things she keeps hidden about herself aren't things to be ashamed or guilty about, since she's just so divine, thus making any attempting to expose it obviously lessers.
Seems like she could be a VERY interesting lady to play with. And of course, Skele did an excellent job deputing her!
