One lovely fall day, I made a batch of Brownies, delicious chocolaty goodness brownies, for me to enjoy over the next week 1/2 I was feeling stressed lately, and my comfort food is brownies, so I made them and then told everyone in my house. "DO NOT EAT THE BROWNIES!!!!!" Well that is because I do not, and can not share. (Reason 1 why I will never marry). So I am walking around my kitchen this evening cooking up some Mac Cheese, when I go to check on the water, I notice that the lid to my BROWNIES is off, tilted to the side... "Strange" I ponder as I step closer. I open the case and low and behold my BROWNIE is no more!!, yet the knife is so gently placed inside along with a few sparing crumbs...I am aghast!!! So instantly I call my best friend Kimberly, and demand that she arrive here immediately! She is still at work so will be here shortly, but what was the matter?
"Kimberly...Some one has eaten the rest of my BROWNIE..."
"So make more..."
"There is no more.... this was the last of the mix!" ...she pauses... I continue." I bet Robert took it (My brother), that rotten thief he took it and then left for the evening! That rat bastard!! He took it all... There was 3/4th's left to the thing, and he took it and ate it all!!! Asshole!! (Reason 2 why I will never marry, I jump to conclusions and usually the blame any male figure associated.)" Kim mumbles and then listens attentively I assume..." I am going to kill him; right now I am putting the metal spatula in the boiling water so when I smack him in the g.d. face it will scar forever!"
"Abby, maybe you're overreacting? Ummm-" I cut her off (Reason 3 why I will never marry I overreact to most situations, and get either very emotionally happy or angry... no in-betweens)
"What do you mean, that ass-hole...I know where he is he's at Fresco's (local bar), i am fucking going to call him there and ask him!" (Reason 4 why I will never marry I have no concept of time, it's about 12 41 Robert is most likely drunk with a bunch of friends and hitting on ugly girls, yet i will still call him.)
"Are you serious?"
"Damn right i am! That ass-hole has one or two things coming to him. G.D. it all i wanted was a BROWNIE!!!"
"I'm hanging up...this is stupid....I'll see you in a little bit."
"Fine!" I hang up and immediately dial the number for Fresco's. "Hello, yes is Robert Allard there?" I wait patiently as he gets on the phone.
"Hey, is everything okay?" -I can hear bob's stupid friend's in their drunken stupor say my name repeatedly...dumbasses. (Reason 5 why i will never marry i will never like your friends, I am an elitist and think that your friends are beneath me.)
"Hey, did you eat my brownies? The ones on the counter... did you?"
"What...no i didn't they were there when i left for the game... the dog must've eaten them.."
"I doubt that! For some reason i don't think the dog and her opposable thumb opened the tightly sealed container, then cut pieces and carefully put the knife and top back on and in the container.."(Reason 6 why i will never marry i will never believe anything you ever say to me. I trust very few people and you definitely won't be one of them)
"Jesus... I'm gonna go, I’ll see you later...” On the other side i can hear the drunks yelling.. "The Brownies are here!” We ate the brownies!"... (Idiots, reiterate reason 5)
So we hang up and now i am pondering what happened to the BROWNIES...Bob was pretty ready to blame the dog, maybe too ready. My Mom is gone for the weekend but she could've eaten them this morning and just hid the thing...but I doubt that because i ate one before i left for the mall...mmm delicious...
So as of now, all of you are my suspect. Except my dog...i know she couldn't have done this...she would've licked the pan clean... there were tons of crumbs... so it was a person.... was it you?
