The Beast waited in the forest for the children to come, it's malevolent grin made even more sinister by the forest light highlighting it's wicked teeth. The children would come to know it as a rusted car when they grew -up but in their younger years the fantasy of 'The Beast' would always be a fond memory that scared them on a late Sunday afternoon when there was nothing to do but dream and have fun.

Painting 1 from the series Oxide Ride which will depict classic cars in dilapidated states of disrepair.
Painted on a digital tablet with over a 60 hours of work, this piece is a salute to childhood games and the art of rusty cars.
