Really, really excited. If there's a developer I feel comfortable handling the dormant franchise, it's Larian. To this day, the Infinity Engine games remain to be at the top of my list of my all-time favorites.

Yep. Back in '98 when I built my second PC/first gaming PC, some of the games I initially played were CRPGS - Fallout 1 & 2, and Baldur's Gate, even the old-school first person RPGs like Lands of Lore 2 and Stonekeep as well as party-based ones like Might and Magic VI. That period of the mid/late late 90s to early 00s were probably my favorite. There were so many games that laid the foundation and popularized the genres we are enjoying now. Aside from CRPGs, you had the likes of Half-Life, StarCraft, Diablo, Rainbow Six, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Team Fortress, Unreal Tournament, Command & Conquer, Silent Hill, Tekken 3, Street Fighter 3, Final Fantasy VII, Ocarina of Time, and other gems all coming out in that period.
