a livestock animal i made for my friends story, dont like it as much as the amphiboraptor but i thought id post it anyway uwu

Forced to mutate fast due to genetic tampering and selective breeding. This animal keeps a number of adaptations from its common ancestor with its cousin the Not-Kubrow. One adaptation it was unable to loose was a fast metabolism creating lots of heat, in response to a large body that created to much heat it lost a huge amount of hair over its body and its ears grew extremely large to loose heat, however this forces it to be raised in semi warm environments as its constantly trying to expel heat it’s horrible at keeping it in. Males and females retain their iconic mane on the back of their necks, however the males are much larger, looking like funny Mohawks. Coming from it’s ancestors pre-adapted means of walking on only three of its toes, it now walks primarily on its large center toe with the other two main toes for balance. Like all “Furrureformidea” wether they lay eggs or not, it’s creates a yolk like secretion from glands along its belly. One of the few places fur remained was on the end of its tail, Turing to more of a bristle like structure. It uses its long tail to swat at pest, and to scratch itself, which it it’s now to large to do with its legs, like its ancestors would have. Selective breeding led to a thick, crushing beak. Letting it eat both soft and hard food. Much of its diet coming from harder parts of food that are mostly inedible to people.
