Nachmittags bei einem Freund.. war noch zu Schulzeiten. Ich kann dir nicht wirklich erklären, was es damit auf sich hat, weil ich mir nichts dabei *gedacht* habe. Ich fand es nur ab einem bestimmten Punkt beruhigend den Hintergrund mit Grafit schwarz zu malen..

Das wäre schwer in ein paar Sätze zu quetschen! Ich grabe derzeit Skizzen und Zeichnung von vor 10 Jahren aus; klar haben die alle eine Geschichte..

Ursprünglich ging es mir bei dem Bild wohl um Abkopplung und Abgrenzung der eigenen Persönlichkeit von der Masse bzw. um Ego-Auflösung.

Jetzt bin ich aber gerade von den Nachrichten über den Reaktorunfall in Fukushima beeinflusst.. ich sehe plötzlich Verbindungen zwischen dem Stil und Feel meiner Zeichnung und der aktuellen Situation dort..

Du hast ja auch recht.... alles hat ja irgendwo eine Geschichte! Ich dachte nur, dass du mir diese dahinter nennen könntest. Es ist übrigens schön wie Bilder, je nach Umgebung, ihre Deutung ändern können. Ich glaub auch das macht ein gutes Bild aus.

thank you safira! well, the black spaces are all plain black graphite.. it can become a pain in the hand after a while.. NO art-teacher would recommend you to do that, aha!

I don't know, but springtime has made my mind/emotions feel all scattered, and this image reminds me of that. It looks to me as if it was composed of patches of light in a dark cell, the spiderweb-like shadow as if sunlight sieved through a very curious barred window. There is a strange illusion of flatness and perspective in the picture that makes it even more haunting. Is the image blurry on purpose? Even that adds to the delirium.

I feel similar about the beginning of spring/warm season!
The blur comes from the photo, the picture itself has clear lines, but I picked that version as I thought it adds to the message. I drew the picture at one afternoon spent at a friend's place. It just turned out that way.. Thank you for the nice comment and sharing your thoughts!
