A couple of very good friends of mine commissioned me to paint one of their wedding photos. (Reference photograph was by Liz Wilson)I don't usually paint this type of thing but I was more than happy to in this case as I've known Sophie for about 10 years and Logan for about 14

It's such a lovely portrait. And the photographer did a good job too! Sometimes it's nice to break from the usual with something a little bit more sentimental.

Yeah it's not usually the type of commission I would want to paint, but the couple being such a great friends made it an enjoyable challenge.
