beautiful job!! this looks really great! i'm absolutely in love with the colors <3 it's very vibrant and adds life to the piece. i love the stroke effects at the bottom, it fits nicely!
the shape of the hair looks a bit off though, and her hair looks pretty square. especially the top left corner looks a bit too pulled out ;v;
normally i love fringe effect but it looks a bit dirty some places, such as the hair. especially with so many colors and strokes going on. i'd suggest maybe toning it down, or covering it up after the filter.
also, maybe the colored lights should reflect a bit on the skin, and not just the hair edge?
overall, this is a beautiful portrait and as a warm up sketch, it is v impressive!! i hope this critique helped you and keep up the good work!

yeah I wasn't very pleased with the hair, definitely could use a bit more work for sure! thanks so much for the critique~ the bun doesn't really line up with the hair the more I look at it! and I was having trouble finding a way to reflect the light on the skin but thanks for pointing it out!
I'm notorious for using photoshop filters hahahah omg but thank you anyways
