Oh wait, I think I've got it! (Please don't read if you don't like criticism, especially form somepony that can't draw himself)
Okay, the problem with this pic is the conflict! Nyx looks scared, but her body doesn't reflect it! At least in my mind, her wings would be tucked tight against her body, trying to become as small as possible. Her eyes don't seem to be open or closed enough. Right now, it looks more like she's only mildly concerned with something/she looks sympathetic with somepony else.
Twilight's only problem is that she looks almost confused! XD
Anyhoof, I'm done now... I still think that this pic is AWESOME! It's just that the title makes me think of the story, and it just doesn't seem to match in my mind. Please don't take this too negatively, okay?I'm just trying to help!
