Possibly the most unpredictable incarnation, the 4th Doctor is the most alien. Whilst having a whimsical charm and offbeat humour, the 4th Doctor could also be somber and broody, while also displaying moments of anger and callous behaviour. However he does display some genuine warmth to his companions, referring to them his best friends. Instantly recognisable with his trademark long scarf, wide smile and love of jelly babies, the 4th Doctor's time ended after another battle with his old enemy the Master, falling from a radio telescope to the ground, the impact triggering the regeneration.
